Vertical Framed Planters

I'm getting married next year in London, ON, at the city-owned museum.

Like many others, I've fallen in love with the thunderous trend of succulents, and decided to make them a focal point of my decor.

I'm trying to keep everything as local and sustainable as possible, and figured live plants would be great.

I also wanted to tie it in with the existent museum-vibe, so I figured I would make planters in art frames to display in aisles. I've made a few basic, full frames, but then a couple where the succulents act as a matt around a black chalk board painted centre to write on (Display the order of service, and names/roles of the attendants as guests come in - currently protected with plastic until I need them).

I probably won't get as many done by next June as I had hoped, based on the sheer number of plants needed, but it's been a great learning experience, and hopefully a visible reminder of our happy day long after!
